As a mother of two young children I understand, first hand, the extreme importance of a healthy start to life. My eldest daughter suffered from recurring respiratory infections and from that, numerous complications, including asthma from the time she was 1 years old to 6 years old. So I can definitely empathize with the agonies of tending to a frequently sick child. During those 6 years, I asked myself repeatedly “What am I not doing?” and “What can I do to boost her immunity?” Her asthmatic attacks took a heavy toll on her spirit, immunity and the health of our whole family. In 2013, I discovered the healing power of whole foods, and so I took a leap of faith. I learned all I could about culinary nutrition, anti-inflammatory whole foods, and immune boosting pediatric massages. We adapted our lifestyle and our diet and our lives improved dramatically. My daughter came off the endless rounds of antibiotics. We were no longer “VIPs” in the hospitals (not a glamorous aspiration, I assure you). Her once frequent respiratory infections were cleared up in 1 week instead of 3 weeks. Finally, asthma medications were no longer a daily must.
Our family has experienced the life changing results of healthier eating and I have a passion for helping others to do the same.
